It’s an honor to feel so supported. 

This first single release is the culmination of twenty-seven years of heartbreak. I really wanted the emotion you hear in this ballad to be true to what I felt on the day that it’s about.

November 22nd, 2023.

It was equally important to me to portray a little flair from my Southern roots in the imagery I created for this. My grandmother’s house in Alabama is the only home I’ve been able to consistently go to throughout my life, & it’s where I was on this day.

I am not a country artist, but my heart does belong in the South.
